The Bell House & Bell Amphitheater, Baguio

The Bell House is part of Camp John Hay's Historical Core. To get in, you would have to pay an Entrance fee of P60 for ordinary visitors, and P50 for students. This also allows you access to the Cemetery of Negativism.

Named after General Franklin Bell, the Bell House used to be a rest house of the Commanding General of the Philippines before it was transformed into what it is today. What used to be a warm and comfortable residence of American commanders is now a museum that epitomize the American colonial architecture. Let's take a look at the interior of this house.

The loggia around the house also gives you a great view of the amphitheater that surrounds the Bell House. It makes a great place to have your afternoon tea while enjoying the picturesque view of trees & hills. There is also a Comfort Room located just outside the Bell House in case you get that call from nature. Haha.

Just in front of the house, you can find a beautiful flower-laden garden. An amphitheater that's inspired from the Ifugao’s terracing technique. The place is so beautiful that it is now a popular venue for weddings, photo shoots, special events or couples who just want a quiet afternoon walk.

Behind this beautiful colonial residential structure, there is the Bell Secret Garden that will pass by a History Trail which starts right beside the Bell House. I will be sharing this in a separate blog post.

But before that... here's the photos I picked and posted on my Instagram. Didn't get to pick a photo from the Bell House though because I was too in love with the amphitheater.
