Heritage Hill and Nature Park Garden, Baguio

Okay, so the place is called The Diplomat Hotel Heritage and Nature Park but I have to break it into a different blog post from the other article entitled 'The Dominican Hill and Retreat House' because of the number of pictures I want to share. Haha.

But technically they are the same thing (or place). However, this particular article is focused on the lovely garden -- or what I'd like to call it 'greenhouse' -- located at the back of the abandoned structure.

Make sure not to miss out on checking this place before you leave because you will definitely get some great Instagram pictures here with the pine trees covered path and all the lovely plants and flowers. Not to mention the panoramic view of Baguio City that you will see here.

And ironically (which I also find amusingly creative) was the fact that The Dominican Hill is the best way to define 'mixed emotions'. You have the ruins of Diplomat Hotel to give you the chills and scary feels. You have Love Locks for that sweet and romantic feeling. You have the garden for peace and relaxation. And then you have the landmark shaped like the Ten Commandments Tablet by the parking area to give you that sense of holiness amidst the ruins.

And so I conclude that this is the perfect place for y'all intrepid folks out there who wants to get a bit of history, or just want a glimpse of the breathtaking scenery of the city, or just to have some spiritual recharging, or just want an encounter with the hotel's ghostly inhabitants... or all of the above.

Also, here are a couple of pictures we took from the garden which I posted on my Instagram account. I really love the second pic... sooo instagrammable! The first one is just the 'behind the scenes' version of the latter. Haha.
